Tumor vanishes and joint pain gone!

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

Just wanted to share with everyone about some awesome things that happened last night at AXIS youth.

We had a powerful time of testimonies of students sharing what God has been doing in their lives.  Many testimonies were shared that displayed God’s goodness, love, and desire to be actively involved in their lives!  Here is a summary of one of the testimonies:
Claire LaValley shared with everyone about her friend who had been suffering from a tumor in his head.  Claire and her friends prayed over him and he said he  felt the tumor leave his head!  He recently got a new MRI done on his head and the doctors discovered that the tumor is completely gone!
Also, after service I noticed a group of students gathered around another female student praying for her.  As they were praying, I noticed her drop to her knees and begin weeping.  After they prayed, she was walking all around the room moving her legs and arms.  I asked her what had happened and she said she had been suffering from severe pain in all of her joints and the doctors didn’t know what was wrong with her.  They thought it might be a form of arthritis.  As the students were praying for her the pain completely went away!  She was able to kneel down move her arms and legs and run without any pain (she couldn’t do that before)!  That was the first time she had been touched by God like that in a physical way and she was amazed at what He did.
Isn’t God soooooo good?

Jesus Culture trip ‘08

Monday, August 4th, 2008

I am writing this from Salt Lake City.  We are on our way back from our first Jesus Culture conference in Redding, CA.

God has been moving mightily among the youth!  On this trip, we have experienced many things including healings, words of knowledge, visions, salvations, and baptisms in the Spirit!  As we are on our way home we are excited about sharing what has been experienced.  What is even more exciting is what is still in store for the future!  We have to hit the road right now, so I gotta go.  I’ll write more later!

AXIS service 6/25/08

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

Last night was Great! We had a ton of fun, the games were awesome (thanks Tom), and God took over the service and did what He wanted to do! All of you that were there probably have your own unique perspective of what was happening. Worship was incredible last night (thanks Dustin and Erica), and it is great to have a team of musicians that can flow with where God is leading. God is calling us as individuals and as a group to a life of holiness, a life that is so much greater than what we have today. His plans for us are bigger and better than we realize, and He is powerful enough to meet all our needs!

Feel free to add to this blog any of your own experiences from last night or any comments or questions you might have. Be Blessed!

Pastor Scott,

Last week’s AXIS / FUSION mixed service was amazing.  I loved your message, I loved watching how the kiddos interacted with and supported each other, I loved how Erica and Dustin were allowed to LOSE THIER MINDS and ROCK OUT!!! :o )  I loved the opportunity to pray for the young men and young ladies at the end of the service and see how they were taking those big steps toward a more intimate relationship with Him.  Thank you for allowing us to share such a precious time with those teens.  They are treasures!!

AXIS/Fusion…Holy Spirit

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

Praise God…He is awesome!  Last night was a wonderful night in AXIS.  We had the honor of having the Fusion service join us and be a part of worshipping God.  Both adults and students were entering into worship and it was great to have a full house in there!  The message focused in on “humility” (following Pastor Todd’s message last Sunday).  The title was “Between Timidity and Pride”.  the main example was the story of Gideon and how he moved from a place of being Timid to being humble.  God also stripped him of any pride to keep him in the place of humility.  There was a powerful video testimony from the Jesus Culture website that illustrated the power of God in action when we place ourselves in the position of humility.  Ruth got up in the end and gave an altar call.  We had about 6 students come forward for prayer and I know at least 3 of them were filled with the Holy Spirit!  Adults came forward to pray over them as well as other students.  It was a great time of seeking more of the Lord.  He made Himself real to many people last night.

Youth happenings!

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

Last Wed night we had a wonderful time worshipping in our youth AXIS service.  We were able to pray over a student who had just been informed of the loss of a family member.  The other students readily surrounded her, laid hands on her and prayed over her.  That then opened up a wonderful time of testimony of what God is doing in the lives of students.  There was testimony after testimony of God’s amazing love and power!  Praise God!
